Accommodation in the Shoalhaven
The Shoalhaven, with its 49 towns and villages, 109 beaches and hundreds of thousands of hectares of National Parks and State Forests has a great variety in accommodation options.
However a word of caution – during peak holiday times – Christmas and over Easter you may find the options limited so we do recommend you contact the Shoalhaven Visitors Centre on 1300 662 808 or visit our on-line booking service www.shoalhavenholidays.com.au. This applies not just during peak times but all times of the year as it allows you to browse through the different options available and check out the prices, many of which you will find have specials on offer on line.

Backpacker Accommodation
At various locations throughout the Shoalhaven
Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
There are dozens of B & B’s scattered throughout the Shoalhaven – some on farms, some in country retreats, some in the mountains and of course there are some right on the beach.
Cabins, Cottages and Units
There are literally hundreds of cabins, cottages and units available, many of these are to be found virtually on the beachfront and others are by a river, in a country village, or in the mountains.
Caravan and Camping Parks
Shoalhaven is famous for its caravan and camping parks. Some of which are perched right on the ocean front, some in our towns and villages and some in the country.
Eco Tourism Resort
We have one retro Eco Tourism Resort at Swanhaven and another Eco resort in the Jervis Bay area.
Group Accommodation
There is group accommodation specialising in schools at half a dozen different locations throughout the Shoalhaven.
Guest Houses
We have guesthouses in villages stretching from Berry in the north through to Ulladulla in the South offering budget to 5 star accommodation.
Health Retreats
There is a health retreat in Barrengarry on the mountains.
Holiday Letting
There is a huge range of holiday letting and holiday homes to rent throughout the Shoalhaven. These are generally managed by real estate agents who specialise in this form of holiday accommodation and can be found in virtually every town and village throughout our area.
Hotels
For the traditional Aussie hotel offering accommodation you can go to Berry, Bomaderry, Huskisson, Milton, Nowra and Ulladulla and for the Hotel/Motels you can go to Greenwell Point and Shoalhaven Heads.
Houseboats
For that restful snooze listening to the water lapping against your hull why not try a houseboat holiday available on the Shoalhaven River and at Sussex Inlet.
Motels
The traditional motel is available in all the towns and villages throughout the Shoalhaven and offers a hassle free option for your holiday choice.
Serviced Apartments
Serviced apartments are dotted throughout the Shoalhaven in the main towns, in the villages and on the coastal hamlets.
